Sandstorm players are taking to the start of this weekend’s Queensland Beach Club Classic in record numbers. With over 30 teams competing in men’s pairs, women’s pairs, men’s fours, women’s fours and mixed fours, this will be the largest contingent of Sandstorm Beach Club players ever.
The QLD Beach Club Classic is a social beach volleyball competition held over 3 different weekends for clubs throughout Queensland.
Each club selects teams to represent their club to compete for the title ‘Club Champions’. This series is aimed at increasing participation and building camaraderie between clubs throughout Queensland.

GENERAL INFO ABOUT QBBC ROUND 1:
-There will also be sandwiches available from the kiosk.
-We can legally start to you sell you alcoholic drinks from 10am so giddy up.
-This is a great chance for greater Brisbane to see how awesome Sandstorm Beach Club is so please make players from other centres welcome :)
-Tech meetings are important for all players to attend to hear rules and ask questions. These are as follows:

If you can’t make this weekend no dramas, the next QBCC is on August 7th and 8th with the Finals Series (you must have played rounds 1 or 2 to be eligible) on September 25th and 26th. Last year Bracken Ridge edged out Sandstorm Beach Club – remember all points count whether you win/lose or just show up for the shenanigans. Let’s bring the Championship Trophey back home!
